My name is Yael Nathanel, the daughter of Sarah and Yaakov Ozeri, and a sister to Shlomo Ozeri, who disappeared about 3 years before the establishment of Israel.
Shlomo was born in the Land of Israel and was in a daycare for children, in the neighborhood “Yad Eliyahu” in Tel Aviv.
His story begins, after the teacher said that Shlomo was not feeling well, and my parents took him to “Hadassah” Hospital in Tel Aviv, for a doctor's visit.
After the visit, the doctor decided to keep him under observation for the night. The next day my father came to pick him up, and was informed that his son Shlomo had passed away.
My father was asked to go home, and they would let him know when to mourn, once more children were added.
My father went back home, and since then, he has never been informed.
When committees were formed, I too, began to investigate the case, with the “Shalgi Committee” and other committees. We received a letter, saying that my brother Shlomo died, due to heart disease, and his burial place is in “Nachalat Yitzhak” in Tel Aviv.
I went to the cemetery, and indeed my brother Shlomo Ozeri is listed in the book of burials. We walked towards the block and the plot, but there was no such grave.
Later on, they sent a person who specializes in tombstones for abandoned children, and he also verified, that there is no such grave, according to the listed block and lot.
And from then until today, I have been following the committees, and all the stories of the kidnapped Yemenite children.
The next day my father came to pick him up, and was informed that his son Shlomo had passed away.
My father was asked to go home, and they would let him know when to mourn, once more children were added.
