Pnina Palmon

Pnina Palmon, a social worker at the Ein Shemer immigrant camp, tells Haaretz journalist Igal Mashiach that she transferred three children to WIZO to be treated for malnutrition – two to Tel-Aviv, and one to Ramla (due to lack of space in Tel Aviv). She is not certain whether she dutifully reported the transfer to the camp’s management, but she is certain she reported it to the children’s mothers. She does not know whether the mothers knew the location of their children or whether they went to collect them.
