Ben Zion Cordova, my cousin on my mother's side, was born in 1952. The month and date of of birth are not known.

He was born to Herzl and Ester Cordova who immigrated in December 1948 and resided in Jaffa.

They had two children first – Rachel and Ben Zion and then Yossi.

About three years after the birth of Rachel, Ben Zion was born.

When he was one month old Ben Zion fell ill and his parents hospitalized him in D'jani Hospital, Jaffa.

The day after his admission, Herzl, Ben Zion Cordova's father, went to visit his son at the hospital. There he was informed that his son passed away.

Herzl was never shown the body, nor did he receive a death certificate, and the birth certificate is missing.

The baby boy has no grave and his place of burial is unknown.

My parents did not speak about the child's disappearance or alleged death.

They are no longer with us but we, Rachel and Yossi the siblings and I, Ilana their cousin are still alive and want to know the fate of Ben Zion.
