My name is Ester Edry, my maiden surname is Bar Natan and I was born in 1959.

My mother's name: Aviva Hilwani Bar Natan

My father's name: Ya'akov Bar Natan.

In 1962, probably in august, my sister was born in Hakirya hospital, Tel Aviv. According to my father's testimony she was born completely healthy. My father came the next day to visit and was told she had died. He did not receive a death certificate. When he asked to see the body or a grave he was told that day old infants do not get a proper burial. During my mother's pregnancy, may she rest in peace, she was diagnosed with Krukenberg cancer and her days were numbered. She passed away about ten month after giving birth. I guess the suffer and helplessness of our family was obvious to them. My Parents already had my older brother, may he rest in peace, and me and our financial situation was difficult.
I remember my mother returning from the hospital without her baby, my father always made sure throughout his entire life, that we will not forget what happened.
