Rosa and Haim Freedman

When my grandparents tried to immigrate to Israel after the Second World War in 1947 they were caught by the British and sent to Cyprus. There their first son, Moshe Fridman, was born. When they finally got to Israel after the State was established, their baby who was 9 months old at the time got measles. He was hospitalized in the Be’er Ya’akov Hospital in Zerifin. A couple of days later, when they came to see him, they were told that he had passed away and has already been buried.

Lately we discovered that his ID number is still active and that he is registered as living in their old address. We could then see that he was recorded as leaving the country at the age of 16.

I very much want to find him, but have no idea where to start. Since my grandparents have since passed away I have no one to ask and all that I have is a picture of a baby from the Brith.

Moshe Fridman was born in May and should be 66 years old today (2016).

I would be most grateful for any idea to help me find him.
